Helen Undy
Becky Heath
Dom Potter
Becky interned at a small charity in London for six months, before undertaking an internship at the Council of the EU in Brussels - an experience she describes as 'fantastique'. Until September 2009 she managed the news content department at a news agency. She recently sat on the judging panel for the Yorkshire Internship Awards.
If Becky were a biscuit, she'd be: A ginger snap - cool and calm under pressure...
Dom was lucky enough to have a sofa to sleep on when he first came down to London to intern at Demos. Graduating to a bed whilst interning for some MPs, Dom has since found work with the OECD, Involve and the Young Foundation. Dom is a Trustee of TimeBank, a Fellow of the RSA and was Future 100 Young Social Entrepreneur of the year in 2009.
If Dom were a biscuit, he'd be: a HobNob - a biscuit for all seasons.
Helen overstayed her welcome at her sister's house whilst interning for an MP in London, before being lucky enough to land a job running an MP's Westminster office, and a real rent of her own. Whilst working in Westminster Helen established the Campaign for Fair Parliamentary Internships, organised the Parliamentary Interns' Summit and advised the Independent Parliamentary Standards Authority on the employment of interns.
If Helen were a biscuit she'd be: A party ring - well rounded, fond of doilies...
